The Greatest Gift of All

imageChristmas is such a joyous season of the year, but for others, it is a very hectic season. Why? Because many people are very busy shopping for presents for their loved ones.  Some are even doing last minute shopping which is nerve-wracking!  Others shop until they drop to find great deals for themselves, too! Shop…shop…shop… Sales…sales…never ending sales!!!

Now what?… After all the hustle and bustle of this season, the question becomes…What is really the true meaning of Christmas in our lives? The answer to this question is…” Jesus is the Reason for the Season.”  He will always be….He is the beginning and the end.  He is the Alpha and the Omega.  Jesus is Our Hope and Our Peace.  He is the Prince of Peace.  He came to this earth to give us His peace…

John 14:27 KJV[27] “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Friends, instead of focusing on our worries and anxieties on our earthly resources, our gift-giving and our holiday shopping in particular, why don’t we pause and embrace the peace which Jesus is giving to us.  Jesus is even giving Himself to us as a free gift.  Once we receive Him in our lives, we have the gift of eternal life.

Jesus’ presence in our lives is the greatest gift we can ever receive this Christmas Season. All we need to do is to surrender our lives to Him, all our fears, our worries.  He takes all of these things away. He even forgives all of our sins if we confess them to Him for He is a faithful and a just God.  We just need to spend time with Him….

If you are reading this post right now and you want to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord , your Saviour and Prince of Peace in your life,  please pray this simple prayer:

” Heavenly Father, thank you for giving Your Son, Jesus Christ to me as a free and greatest gift this Christmas season.  He is the Reason for the Season. Lord Jesus, I come to you right now to surrender my life to You and to ask forgiveness for my sins.  I believe that You had forgiven me and You died on the cross to save me from my sins.  I now receive you as The Lord and Saviour of my life. Thank you for the gift of eternal life.  I love you, My Lord, My Saviour and My King! Amen!”

If you had prayed this prayer, I now welcome you to God’s Family!  Just leave your comment below.
